Xbox LIVE Audio Upgrade in November

Can you hear me now? No? Well hopefully with this new update you can. I was never a fan of the crackly voices over Xbox LIVE, and at times voice chat became more of a frustration than anything. After being a long time WoW player and having the clarity of Vent, LIVE’s performance just isn’t [...]

Volks Bayonetta Figure

Volks Bayonetta Figure now on my Christmas list.

If I had an extra $500 lying around, this is what I would be tempted to invest it in. Specs say it’s made to a 1/4 scale, but exactly how tall is Bayonetta, anyway? This Kotaku article suspects 8 feet. If that’s the case, then this is one massive, extraordinarily detailed, statue. And I want. [...]

First 1000/1000 - Lost Odyssey

My first 1000/1000 retail: Lost Odyssey

I’m awful at finishing things. There have been many projects that now lay abandoned in the dark corners of my hard drive due to boredom, distractions, loss of motivation, and no instant gratification. The achievement system is slowly changing this in me. (I did update my site layout, after all.) At level cap in World [...]

Currently Playing: Lost Odyssey

I’ve been a fan of JRPG’s since I was nine or ten and bought my first game for my brand new Playstation. That game was Final Fantasy 8. I had no idea what the gameplay was really going to be like, but for some reason I was drawn to it. From that first epic opening [...]

My E3 adventure. (Part 1)

I never thought I would attend this event before I was in the industry developing games, but there I was. Two weeks earlier I didn’t realize I even had a chance, but thanks to some amazing people, the opportunity was presented to me. (And here I thought my summer wouldn’t be very eventful.) – View [...]

Summer is finally here + Alpha Protocol?

I won’t be taking an adventure to any sort of exotic land, but I am perfectly content with where I am. With no course work left to do, I can now breathe easy and focus on whatever it is I feel like. At the moment, Jquery and Achievementt points! I would love to redesign this [...]

Red Dead Redemption – Stealing more lives since WoW.

Selling around 550,000 copies on it’s opening day alone, Read Dead Redemption is spreading through my Xbox friends list like wildfire. I’m eager to see the numbers once the 1-week mark has come around. [Time for bed. Yay for microblogging. P.S. Halo: Reach Beta offline.]

Halo: Reach Beta is online!

The Halo: Reach Beta has gone live today and all you need to access it is your Halo: ODST Campaign disc. Note, the experience will not be flawless as the servers experienced flooding earlier today. I am also witness to the pain experienced by a server rollback in which unlocked equipment and gained ranks were [...]

Splinter Cell: Conviction | Moving

As luck would have it, I am moving on the week of Splinter Cell: Conviction’s release. :[ Instead of vegging out and pulling off some sexy executes, I have been organizing, packing, unloading, lifting, failing, and crushing my fingers. Little by little, the floor is being uncovered and boxes are disappearing. I won't be fully [...]

Xbox Live Update! – Bust out those flash drives.

As I booted up the Xbox this morning I was pleased to find our anticipated updating arriving right on time. As posted previously, this update allows the use of flash drives as portable storage! It also makes a few adjustments to make the user interface for managing files a bit more user friendly.
